The website isn't working / keeps logging me out

There has been a change recently to how secure cookies are handled in major browsers. However it seems to be the case that if you have logged in to certain websites before this change was made, your browser will not allow you to log in again after the change.

The first solution to this is to clear your browser's cache and cookies. To do this:

Fully close your browser and all open tabs.

re-open it

Press: CTRL+SHIFT+DEL on your keyboard together. A window will appear presenting various options to clear your history which, depending on the browser you are using, will look something like this:

Ensure that both the Cookies and Cache options are selected, and if you have a time range option that All time is selected from the drop down. 

Then click on Clear data. 

Now close your browser again, re-open it and try logging in to the website again. 

If this doesn't work, please ensure that your browser and operating system are fully up to date. 

You can also try using a different browser. Chrome, Edge or Firefox for example.
